mGov Platform & Solutions

mGov Platform

SDP (Service Delivery Platform) is the core of the mGov solution. Made up of a number of components, SDP is the revolving point of all integrations in the solution (APIs, mobile operators, gateways, database(s) and applications).

mGov is a managed service which all involved parties can access the services for a range of features, including application management, statistics and reporting, subscription management, identity access management, and more. Access to SDP system is defined by the employer and the respective agencies using mGov. Each agency can define and manage their own sub users. The vendor can provide support in managing users.

Platform architecture

SDP is a multi-channel, multi-gateway platform. It supports the following channels for consumers to access applications:

  • SMS
  • USSD
  • IVR (Voice calls)
  • Web/Mobile Web
  • Email
  • Mobile native applications (apps)

All traffic, regardless of the channel, is identified and routed through to the application being requested. Meanwhile, SDP performs a number of core functions such as traffic analysis, data logging, access/permission management, application provider management, charging and billings.

The program’s goals and objectives are to serve various ministries and governmental agencies through mobile based application and increase efficiency in service delivery for the public. Most importantly, the initiative will facilitate ease of access to government services and increase transparency and efficiency of communications between government and its citizens.

The core element of mGov is the Service Delivery Platform (SDP) which will be connected with all mobile operators to facilitate the use of Voice/IVR, SMS, USSD, mobile web and  billing in mGov applications.

UStronics has develop, implement, maintain and support SDP which consists of 33 mGov applications for nearly thirty government  agencies.  The mGov platform,  connected government agencies to the SDP platform and provide services in real time and with a significantly enhanced scale.  People who benefit from those services will no longer stand on queues, instead, they will receive the services at the comfort of their homes or offices using their mobile phones without paying any hidden fees.
